David Boulanger, Director of Business Development
David Boulanger brings over twenty-five years of experience to Analytix Solutions, having assisted both Fortune 500 global companies and small to medium sized businesses improve operational and technological efficiency. As Director of Business Development, David spearheads Analytix Solutions’ expansion in the small to medium business (SMB) arena and manages Analytix’s relationship with Intacct, their finance and accounting business partner for small and medium growth businesses. These businesses require operational efficiency, operational effectiveness, and real-time intelligence of their financial and operational status. David is also well versed on the benefits of cloud based computing for the CPA and SMB markets.
David began his career as an auditor for Peat Marwick Mitchell in Boston. He has worked in leadership capacities at Pricewaterhouse, IBM Global Services, and SAP, and he has owned his own small business during his career. Because of this, David intimately understands the industry needs of CPA and law firms, as well as accountants and bookkeepers. He brings twenty five years of experience in consulting to product and services companies in the high tech, sports, hotel, software, healthcare, medical products and biotechnology industries. David has consulted for several start-up technology companies in the Boston area and has been an industry analyst for both AMR Research and Gartner in Boston, advising companies on business, process and technology adoption. David holds an MBA in Accounting from Northeastern University, is a CPA, and has taught both graduate and undergraduate accounting programs at several Boston area colleges and universities.
Satish Patel, President
Satish’s career began more than two decades ago as a CPA, conducting audits for small and mid-sized firms, advising their business owners on financial and accounting issues, buying and selling decisions as well as business valuations. He was later certified as a Financial Planner and joined a software start-up as its Chief Financial Officer. He was responsible for all the financial aspects of the company and also spearheaded human resources, information technology, internal operations and tax planning issues. He played a crucial role in expanding the company’s operations to 4 other countries and increasing sales to $10 million+. Within his tenure, he also engineered several key financial initiatives, raising venture capital and securing angel financing. The company was eventually acquired by a publicly traded company.
Satish has a degree in Management from MS University in Baroda, India and a degree in Accounting from California State University at Fullerton, USA. He is a member of International Business Brokerage Association (www.ibba.org) and a charter member of The Indus Entrepreneurs Boston chapter (www.tie-boston.org). He actively contributes to community development through his participation in non-profit organizations.
Kirit Patel, Founder Director
Kirit has a Ph.D., MS and BE degree from Manchester University, England along with having an MBA degree from the elite London School of Business. He has years of business and technical expertise of founding multiple companies in the business and technology arena.
He was the Founder and CEO of Smart Storage Inc, a software company, now part of EMC that specializes in providing archiving software solutions to enterprises. Prior to that, Kirit was the founder and CEO of Gutenberg Systems, a company that provided device software to large OEM manufacturers such as JVC and Sony. He has also worked as the vice president and general manager for Lotus Development Corporation's Publishing division that delivered financial and business information databases. He also co-founded Datext, the first commercial publisher of information on CD-ROM.
